Medicare

Medicare is broken down into 4 parts.

  1. Part A (Hospital)

  2. Part B (Medical)

  3. Part C (Combined private plan or supplement)

  4. Part D (Prescription drugs)

1st step is to contact the SS office to activate the first 2 parts (A and B) and get your red, white, and blue Medicare card.

Once you receive your card, contact us to book an appointment to pick a private plan that fits your needs.

We can answer any questions you may have and guide you through the enrollment process.

FYI-If you are happy with your employer group plan, then you don't have to choose Medicare right away at 65. As long as you have continuous coverage, you won't be penalized at the time you are ready to enroll. You can always compare to see if it's cost-effective to stay put or make a change.
